Please note that half gallons and ice cream cups must be ordered in multiples of four and pints must be ordered in multiples of six. Different product categories cannot be mixed. 

Ground shipping is included in the total price. All prices exclude applicable taxes and are subject to change.

Orders shipped ground have a transit time of 1 - 3 business days depending on location. Shipping for any order can be upgraded and expedited (either by next day air or 2-day air depending on location) for a $65 surcharge. Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii cannot be shipped ground and must be expedited. See chart below for more details and pricing.

SHIPPING POLICIES

Ice cream orders are shipped Monday through Thursday; however, shipments cannot be in transit over the weekend so orders are not able to be delivered on Sundays, Mondays or certain holidays. Using ground shipping, your package will normally arrive Tuesday through Friday.

Orders with ground shipping normally require up to 5 business days (Monday-Thursday) for processing from the time of purchase. Orders with a transit time longer than days left in the week may be held until the following Monday for shipment. For example, orders placed after 12 p.m. CST on Tuesdays may not ship until the following week if 3-day ground shipping is selected. Once shipped, orders will arrive within 1 - 3 business days. (See map below for estimated ground transit days).

Orders with expedited shipping normally require up to 2 business days (Monday-Thursday) for processing from the time of purchase. Orders placed before 12 p.m. CST will ship the next day. Any orders placed after 12 p.m. CST will ship on the 2nd day after purchase. Orders placed after 12 p.m. CST on Wednesdays may not ship until the following Monday. Expedited orders are shipped either next day air or 2-day air depending on location.

*Locations on map are approximate. Estimated carrier transit days are subject to change without notice and are revised occasionally due to changes in distribution and volume, especially during holiday periods. Service to some remote areas also may require additional delivery days. 

To help ensure delivery, please use the complete and correct address. Orders cannot be delivered to P.O. Boxes, A.P.O or F.P.O addresses due the highly perishable nature of ice cream. We are not able to change the address or cancel an order once it has been placed. We are not liable for lost or melted products if customers change the pickup location to a carrier facility, store or any other delivery address during the shipping process. We can not deliver to U.S. territories or other countries. 

Blue Bell will not be held responsible for any delays or damages caused by circumstances outside of our control, such as weather-related events or natural disasters. 

We are not able to take requests for delivery on a specific date, and we cannot guarantee delivery by a certain day or time for both residential and commercial shipments.

HOW IS THE ICE CREAM KEPT FROZEN?

The ice cream is packed in insulated coolers within a shipping box with enough dry ice to keep the contents frozen well into the evening of the delivery date. It is best to open the package immediately upon arrival and to put ice cream in the freezer. Use gloves and caution when handling dry ice.

You might notice some minor shrinkage or separation of the lid and carton due to the extreme temperatures of the dry ice. Atmospheric pressure or altitude changes during shipping can also cause the ice cream to either shrink and pull away from the sides of the carton or even expand and push out of the carton. This will not affect the taste or quality of the ice cream.

Your ice cream may also be frozen very hard upon arrival. Please allow the ice cream to temper in your freezer for up to a day for the best eating consistency. 

WHY DOES IT COST SO MUCH?

Ice cream requires special care when being shipped because of the perishable nature of the product. This includes insulated coolers, additional packaging and a varying amount of dry ice to keep it frozen and protected. All of these factors including the weight of the ice cream contribute to the online pricing of our product, which will be higher than seen in stores. FLAVOR AVAILABILITY

We offer a variety of different half gallon, pint and cup flavors throughout the year. Occasionally, you may find seasonal flavors online that are not available in stores.  All flavors are subject to change, available only while supplies last and quantities may be limited. 

In the event that an item is out-of-stock, additional transit time may be required for your order (as it may ship from another warehouse) or you may be contacted with flavor substitution options. 

GIFTING

Blue Bell Ice Cream can be a perfect gift for any occasion! However, since ice cream is perishable, please make sure that the recipient will be home to receive the order. Blue Bell will not be responsible for damage or loss of gifts due to unavailable recipients, incorrect address information or theft.  

A personal note or message can also be included with the gift during the checkout process. Please type your message in the Gift Message section, and the note will be included on the shipment packing slip.

PAYMENT METHODS

Blue Bell accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and PayPal. Additional payment methods coming soon.

NOTIFICATIONS & ORDER TRACKING

When a shipping label is created, you will receive an email with your tracking number. You will additionally receive emails when your order is in transit, out for delivery and delivered. Please check your spam or junk mail folder to make sure you don't miss any emails. You may also sign-up for SMS text alerts for your order on the order confirmation page. Standard messaging rates may apply. You can also track your order through our Order Tracking page.  

SIGNATURE POLICY

The shipping carrier is normally authorized to leave all packages at residential destinations without a signature. This ensures that your product will not melt due to multiple delivery attempts. 

If shipping to a business address, please be sure someone will be available to accept the package, as some shipping carriers may require a signature or person present to receive the delivery. Blue Bell is not liable for any loss or damage if a package is delivered to a business outside of normal business hours and no one is available to receive it.

CANCELLATIONS

There are no returns, modifications, or cancellations allowed on any orders once placed. Please contact customer service with any questions.

REFUND POLICY

Since ice cream is very perishable, unfortunately shipping mishaps can happen. While we are not able to accept returns, if there are any issues whatsoever with your order, please contact customer service. We will do our very best to help make it right. Please have pictures of your damaged product available when speaking with our customer support representatives. There will be an option of refund or reship for shipments deemed to be failed. Customer service must be contacted within 7 days of your order’s delivery to be eligible for a refund or reship.

ORDER FEEDBACK

After your ice cream has been delivered, you may receive an email with an order survey. We are always looking to improve your online ordering experience and appreciate any feedback that you can provide to us.

BLUE BELL MERCHANDISE

Shop our online Country Store for Blue Bell-inspired items including t-shirts, magnets, koolies, mugs and more. Please note that ice cream orders and Blue Bell merch orders must be placed separately and shipments cannot be combined.
